Leader Bank Pavilion

The city of Boston, Massachusetts, has plenty of entertainment options for visitors, from theatres to concert halls and museums, but the city’s Seaport District offers a wonderful choice in the Leader Bank Pavilion. Located conveniently to the northeast of the convention center, this amphitheatre books some of the biggest names in contemporary entertainment, so it is important to book Leader Bank Pavilion parking ahead of time with ParkWhiz. The venue’s first name was Harborlights Pavilion, and it was originally situated on Fan Pier when it opened to the public in August 1994. The venue was moved a little over half a mile to the southeast in 1999, to a different pier, where it was renamed BankBoston Pavilion for one year. Livenation obtained ownership over the venue in 1999, and under an agreement with FleetBoston Financial, the venue was renamed FleetBoston Pavilion, a name which held until 2004. FleetBoston Financial merged with Bank of America that year, and the venue was renamed to Bank of America Pavilion. It kept this name until 2014, when Blue Hills Bank acquired the naming rights, and renamed the amphitheatre to Blue Hills Bank Pavilion. In 2019, the venue was renamed to Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion after Blue Hills Bank became part of Rockland Trust Bank. The naming rights were then bought by Leader Bank, bringing the venue to its current name of Leader Bank Pavilion. The amphitheatre has a capacity of up to 5200 guests per show for fan favorites such as Britney Spears, Liza Minelli, Diana Ross and Twenty One Pilots, among many others. With a convenient location and some of the most popular artists of the day, it is a good idea to book Leader Bank Pavilion parking in advance with ParkWhiz before the show.
